Something not working, a border in the wrong place, a date that cannot be right? Write and say so. One person reads these.

If you are reporting something wrong on the map, the year you were looking at and the name of the region or record is usually enough to find it.
Before you write
How to read the atlas covers the parts of the map people most often ask about — moving through time, the list beside the map, finding one thing, and what the atlas admits it does not know.
Two answers that come up often enough to give here. A year you typed showed a different one: the atlas holds particular years rather than every year, and it moves to the nearest one it has and says so in the rail. A border looks soft or wrong: softness is deliberate — a frontier known only approximately is drawn as a band rather than a line — but a border in the wrong place is worth reporting.

The iPhone and iPad app has the same form under Settings → Feedback, and it reaches the same place.
