The Jaca uprising (Spanish: Sublevación de Jaca) was a military revolt on 12–13 December 1930 in Jaca, Huesca, Spain, with the purpose of overthrowing the monarchy of Spain.
The revolt was launched prematurely, was poorly organized and was quickly suppressed. Its leaders were executed or imprisoned.
However, the revolt sparked political upheavals that led to the declaration of the Second Spanish Republic a few months later.
