Abdallah ibn Salam (Arabic: عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ, romanized: ʿAbdullāh ibn Salām, lit. 'Slave of God son of Peace'), born Al-Husayn ibn Salam, was a companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, and a Jew who converted to Islam. He participated in the conquest of Syria and Palestine, but died in Medina.
